The Baja Designs 448248 is a vehicle-specific S2 Sport reverse light kit for the 2024-2026 Toyota Tacoma, pairing two 1,581-lumen Wide Cornering lights with the brackets and harness needed to hang them under the rear bumper.

Factory reverse lamps on a 4th-gen Tacoma are sized for a driveway, not for backing a trailer down an unlit forest road at 11pm. The S2 Sport pair fixes that with real output and, more importantly, the right beam. Wide Cornering is the pattern Baja Designs assigns to close-range spread rather than distance: it throws a broad, even wash immediately behind the bumper, which is exactly the shape you want when you are reading a hitch ball, a rock, or a spotter in the mirror.

Fitment

Baja Designs lists 448248 for the 2024-2026 Toyota Tacoma, mounted underneath the rear bumper.

Not compatible with the Tacoma Upfitter Harness, Baja Designs part 600101. That accessory harness, which taps the factory auxiliary switches, works with the toggle-switch version of this kit - 448247 - and not with the hitch-harness version. If running the OEM aux switches matters to you, buy 448247 instead.

Cab, bed length, transmission, rear suspension type and the i-FORCE MAX hybrid are not gates on this kit - Baja Designs publishes no restriction on any of them.

Baja Designs does not list 448248 for the 2025+ 4Runner or the 2024+ Land Cruiser 250; the brackets and harness are Tacoma-specific.
