Fitment

19242-01 fits the 8 ft. box on 2009-2018 Ram 2500 and Ram 3500. Watch the model year at both ends. Ram redesigned the heavy-duty body for 2010, and Bestop's application for this family nonetheless opens at 2009, so a 2009 owner should confirm the box before ordering. At the top end the split is hard: the 2019 and later Ram 2500/3500 8 ft. box is a different Bestop part, 19229-01, and that part is explicitly listed as excluding the Ram 1500 Classic. This is not a 1500 cover in either era.

No. Bestop covers the 2019-2024 Ram 2500/3500 8 ft. box with a separate part number, 19229-01. 19242-01 is the earlier fourth-generation heavy-duty application.

Will 19242-01 work on a 6.4 ft. Ram bed?

No, it is cut for the 8 ft. box only. Bestop's short-box EZ-Roll for the same Ram generation is 19240-01, which is listed for the 6.3 ft. bed and specified without RamBox.
