Lund 969250 is the Hard Fold tonneau cover for the 6.4 ft. box - 76.3 in. of bed floor - on Dodge and Ram 1500, 2500 and 3500 pickups, and it carries forward onto the Ram 1500 Classic. It is the hybrid of the tonneau world: rigid sub-panels on an aluminum under-body frame, wrapped top-side in 24.5 oz. marine-grade vinyl, so it looks and seals like a soft cover but stands up like a hard one.

Two numbers tell you what this cover is for. It carries 350 lb. spread evenly, which is a real distributed rating rather than a weather shell. And it goes on in under ten minutes and comes back off in under three, because it arrives completely assembled and clamps to the bed with nothing drilled. On a Ram that regularly hauls something too tall for a closed cover, that removal time matters.

Fitment

969250 covers the 6.4 ft. box across a long run of Ram pickups: 2002-2018 Dodge and Ram 1500, 2003-2018 Ram 2500 and Ram 3500, and the 2019-and-later Ram 1500 Classic. Two hard exclusions apply. It does not fit a bed equipped with the RamBox Cargo Management system - the RamBox side compartments take up the rail the cover clamps to. And Lund states it will not work with the Multi-Function (split) tailgate, which rules out the 2019-and-newer Ram 1500 DT trucks that option carries. Measure your box: 76.3 in. is the target, and the 5.7 ft. and 8 ft. Ram boxes take different part numbers.

FAQ

Will 969250 fit my Ram with RamBox?

No. Lund's application excludes beds fitted with the RamBox Cargo Management system. The RamBox lids occupy the bed rail the cover has to clamp to, so a RamBox truck needs a RamBox-specific cover.

Does it work with the Ram Multi-Function tailgate?

No. Lund states the Hard Fold will not work with the Multi-Function tailgate - the barn-door split gate offered on the 2019-and-newer Ram 1500.

How do I know I have the 6.4 ft. bed?

Measure the bed floor from the bulkhead to the closed tailgate. The Ram 6.4 ft. box measures 76.3 in. If yours is closer to 67 in. or 96 in., you have the 5.7 ft. or 8 ft. box and need a different part number.

Does 969250 fit a Ram 1500 Classic?

Yes. The Classic is the carryover body Ram sold alongside the redesigned 1500, and Lund lists this cover for it in the 6.4 ft. box, provided it does not have RamBox.
