TruXport uses RTxVinyl, a gloss leather-grain skin chosen for tear and UV resistance rather than looks alone — which matters on a Super Duty that lives outside through an Arizona summer. The cover rides about an inch and a half above the bed caps and holds itself tight through a spring-loaded SureTension control system, so it does not go slack in the heat and drum-tight in the cold the way an unmanaged tarp does. An automatic slam latch grabs when you drop the cover, and it will release from either side of the tailgate so you are not walking around the truck to get in.

Fitment

TruXedo 269101 fits 2008 through 2016 Ford F-250 Super Duty and F-350 Super Duty pickups with the 6'10" (81.8") short bed. Bed length is the only gate to check — measure the box floor before ordering, because the same generation of Super Duty was also sold with the 8-foot bed, which this part does not cover.

Does not fit the F-450. RealTruck's product page and the dealer application table both list only F-250 and F-350 Super Duty for this part number; the F-450 that appears in some marketplace titles is not in the application data.

No. Part 269101 is cut for the 6'10" (81.8") short bed only. A 2008-2016 Super Duty with the long box needs the 8-foot TruXport part number instead.
