The Rugged Radios Polaris XP1 Multi-Mount kit (base MPN MT-XP1-MM) installs a two-way mobile radio and Rugged intercom in the Polaris RZR XP1 by replacing the center storage box: remove the box, secure the Multi-Mount plate with two bolts, load your radio and intercom into the insert, and fasten with 4 screws. This listing covers the insert options — Rugged GMR25, Rugged RDM, Rugged M1/G1/G4/RM45/RM60/GMR45 (with or without switch holes), Icom F5021, Kenwood TK7360, and Motorola CM300D / Vertex VX2200 — select the insert for your radio.

Do I lose the center storage box?

Yes — the mount takes its place. If you want to keep the storage box, use Rugged's XP1 below-dash mount instead.
