The DragonFire Racing 522855 Hydra Axle is a heavy-duty rear replacement axle for the 2016-2017 Polaris RZR XP 1000. Built from dual-heat-treated high-strength chromoly steel and running 15-20% larger than the O.E.M. shaft, it is engineered to survive the abuse that snaps stock axles when you add power, bigger tires, or serious terrain.

Fitment: Fits the 2016-2017 Polaris RZR XP 1000 in the rear position only. One axle serves either the rear left or rear right side. It is a direct O.E.M. replacement that drops in with no modification. This rear axle is year-band specific: it does NOT fit 2014-2015 or 2018-2019 XP 1000 rear applications, and it does not fit the 2020-2022 XP 1000 (use DragonFire 522863). It is not a front axle (front XP 1000 uses 522852).
