Bestop's EZ-Roll Soft Tonneau Cover, part number 19218-01, is the roll-up vinyl bed cover cut for the 8 ft. long box on 2014-2018 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 and GMC Sierra 1500 pickups and on 2015-2019 Silverado 2500HD/3500HD and Sierra 2500HD/3500HD trucks. It is the long-box member of Bestop's K2XX-era EZ-Roll family, and bed length is the gate that matters: the 5.8 ft. and 6.5 ft. boxes take different part numbers.

The EZ-Roll is a full roll-up design rather than a folding panel. Integrated bows are sewn into the cover itself, so the cover keeps its shape across the box without a separate rack of removable crossbars to store. Dual pull tabs sit at both rear corners, so the cover releases and rolls forward to the cab from either side of the tailgate and leaves 100 percent of the bed open for a pallet, a dirt bike, or a load of lumber that a folding cover would only half-clear.

FAQ

Does 19218-01 fit a 6.5 ft. Silverado bed?

No. 19218-01 is the 8 ft. long-box part. The 2014-2018 Silverado 1500 and Sierra 1500 short boxes take 19216-01 or 19217-01 instead, so measure the box from bulkhead to tailgate before ordering.

Does it fit a 2019 Silverado 1500?

Only the heavy-duty 2019 trucks. The 2015-2019 Silverado 2500HD/3500HD and Sierra 2500HD/3500HD 8 ft. box is covered by 19218-01; Bestop lists a separate part, 19226-01, for the 2019-2021 redesigned Silverado/Sierra 8 ft. box.

Do I have to drill the truck to install it?

No. Bestop specifies a no-drill, bolt-on clamp system with bed rails backed by 3M self-adhesive strips, so the cover mounts to the existing bed rails without cutting or drilling.

Can I still open the tailgate with the cover on?
