TruXedo TruXport 270601 is a soft roll-up tonneau cover for the 2007-2013 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 and GMC Sierra 1500 with the 5'8" (69.3 in) short bed — the redesigned GMT900 truck, not the 2007 Classic that GM sold alongside it in the changeover year.

Get the 2007 right and the rest is easy. If your truck has the tall, squared-off front end that ran from 2007 through 2013, the 270601 is the part. If it is a 2007 wearing a Classic badge and 2006 sheet metal, you need a GMT800 cover instead.

On a 5'8" box a roll-up earns its keep every time you load: roll the vinyl to the cab and the entire bed opens, with no folded panels eating the front third. SureTension springs do the tensioning for you, so the surface stays flat and quiet at highway speed instead of needing a seasonal tug. An automatic slam latch drops into place when you push the cover down.

Fitment

The 270601 fits 2007-2013 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 and 2007-2013 GMC Sierra 1500 trucks with the 5'8" short bed. RealTruck's own listing describes that bed as 5' 9" (69.3 in) while Turn14 and most catalogs call it 5'8" — it is one box, measured 69.3 inches, and either name gets you the right part. It does not fit the 2007 Silverado/Sierra 1500 Classic, which is the outgoing GMT800 body and takes a different TruXedo number, and it does not fit the 6.5-foot or 8-foot GMT900 boxes.
