Extang 92645 is a Trifecta 2.0 soft tri-fold tonneau cover for the 5 ft. 8 in. short box on 2007-2013 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 and GMC Sierra 1500 pickups built without the factory track system. That last clause is the whole ballgame on a GMT900 truck: Extang splits this application into two part numbers, and 92645 is the no-track version.

Two things separate the 2.0 from the tri-folds it replaced. The frame is aircraft-grade aluminum with precision 45-degree steel corner brackets at the load points, so the cover holds square instead of racking after a season of desert washboard. And the tarp is a heavy-duty leather-grain vinyl with an integrated corner tuck system that pulls tension into the corners, which is where a soft cover normally starts to pool water and flap.

Fitment

92645 fits the 5 ft. 8 in. box on 2007-2013 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 and 2007-2013 GMC Sierra 1500. It is the version for trucks without the factory track system, also sold as the cargo management system. Does not fit a truck that has the factory track rails - Extang builds 92646 for that same 2007-2013 5 ft. 8 in. application with the track system. The 8 ft. box on the same generation is 92655 without the track system and 92656 with it.

FAQ

How do I know whether my truck has the track system?

Look at the top of the bed rails. Trucks with the GM factory track (cargo management) system have a slotted rail running the length of each bed side with movable tie-down cleats. If yours has that, order 92646 instead of 92645.

Does 92645 fit a 2014 Silverado?

No. 92645 covers the 2007-2013 body. Extang's Trifecta 2.0 for the 2014-2018 Silverado/Sierra 1500 5 ft. 8 in. box is 92445.

Does the cover lock?

No. The Trifecta 2.0 is a soft tri-fold and is not a locking cover; it secures with an EZ-Lock clamp reachable only with the tailgate down, which is the usual soft-cover level of deterrence.

What warranty does Extang give on the Trifecta 2.0?

A limited lifetime warranty on rails, aluminum components, clamps, bows, hardware and the vinyl covering against defective materials or workmanship. Extang excludes wind-whip damage, improper cleaning, cargo overloading, opening the panels with debris on them, and towing damage.
