The Seizmik 50-25037KIT is a Versa-Fold full-to-half folding front windshield for the 2016-2026 Can-Am Defender, HD5 through HD10, including MAX crew, XT, DPS, Limited and PRO cargo models. A quick flip of two composite levers converts it from a full windshield that blocks wind, rain and trail debris to a half-open configuration that lets air rush through the cab, so one windshield handles cold mornings and hot afternoons without ever coming off the machine.

Because the top panel folds down instead of being removed, there is nothing to store, misplace or lose on the trail. When folded, the upper panel is locked in place by heavy-duty captive rubber plugs, and a UV-protected replaceable clear hinge doubles as a stiffening rib that keeps the sheet from flexing at speed. This windshield is built from 0.220-inch UV-resistant polycarbonate; it is the UV-resistant tier, not the two-side hard-coated scratch-resistant version, so it resists yellowing but is not marketed as scratch-proof.

Fitment

Fits the 2016-2026 Can-Am Defender in HD5, HD7, HD8, HD9 and HD10 trims, including DPS, XT, XT-P, Limited, Lone Star, 6x6 and PRO cargo variants, plus the Defender MAX crew (2017 and later). Seizmik lists this windshield by cab profile; the standard Defender cage has carried through unchanged since the 2016 launch. Does not fit the Can-Am Maverick, Commander or the smaller Defender-style clones. Does not fit machines fitted with a non-factory cage.

Is this windshield hard-coated or scratch-resistant?

No. The 50-25037KIT is the UV-resistant polycarbonate tier. If you want the two-side hard-coated, scratch-resistant version of the same Versa-Fold windshield, choose Seizmik 50-25038KIT instead.

Does it fit the Defender MAX crew cab?

Yes. The front windshield mounts to the same forward cage on both the two-seat Defender and the MAX crew, so it fits 2017 and later Defender MAX models.
