The Seizmik 18053 Halo-R is the value-priced panoramic rearview mirror for the Can-Am Defender. A high-impact ABS bezel and housing protect and secure the convex safety glass, which gives a wide rearward view with image stabilization. Two ball joints maximize the range of adjustment, and a heavy-duty, low-mass steel clamp keeps the mirror solid and rattle-free. The bezel comes off for easy glass replacement, and Color Kits are available to change the look.

Fitment

Mounts directly to the Can-Am Defender factory header panel (the molded panel above the windshield opening). This header panel is shared across Defender and Defender MAX models from the 2016 launch onward, so the mirror is not year-specific - it fits any Defender or Defender MAX with the factory header panel.

Note: this mounts to the Defender factory header panel, not a roll-cage tube. It is a center (rearview) mirror, not a side-view mirror.

How is the Halo-R (18053) different from the Halo-RA (18015)?

The Halo-R 18053 uses an impact-resistant ABS bezel for a lower price, while the Halo-RA 18015 uses a machined billet 6061 aluminum bezel for a premium, more durable finish. Both mount to the same Defender factory header panel and use replaceable convex glass.

Can the glass be replaced?

Yes. The ABS bezel removes so the convex safety glass can be swapped without replacing the whole mirror.
