The BAK BAKFlip G2 (part 226227) is a hard folding aluminum tonneau cover built for the 2019-2026 Ram 1500 new-body (DT) with the 5'7" bed and no RamBox. It combines the security of a hard cover with the flexibility of a tri-fold: leave it closed to protect your gear, fold panel-over-panel to the cab for full bed access, or run it partly open for taller loads.

Each panel is aircraft-grade aluminum with a solid core, so the G2 shrugs off weather and would-be thieves while keeping a low, factory-clean profile. A corrosion-resistant semi-gloss black powder-coat finish matches the truck, EPDM perimeter seals channel water away, and automatic slam latches lock the cover down when you close it. Fitment

Fits the 2019-2026 Ram 1500 new-body (DT) with the 5-foot 7-inch bed and no RamBox. Does not fit the 2019-2024 Ram 1500 Classic (old DS carryover body) - that generation uses the Revolver X4s 80207 or the BAKFlip G2 226207. Does not fit trucks equipped with the RamBox cargo-management system (use 226227RB), does not fit the Multi-Function (split) tailgate, and will not work with the Ram TRX bed bar.

No. The 226227 is for the 2019-2026 Ram 1500 new-body (DT). The old-body Ram 1500 Classic needs a different cover such as the BAKFlip G2 226207 or the Revolver X4s 80207.

Will it work if my truck has the RamBox?

No. The 226227 is the no-RamBox version. Trucks with the RamBox cargo boxes require the RamBox-specific 226227RB.

Does it fit the split (Multi-Function) tailgate?

No. BAK lists the 226227 as not compatible with the Multi-Function split tailgate, and it will not work with the Ram TRX bed bar.
