The Wavian 20L NATO Jerry Can (part 3009 in red, 3011 in yellow, 3012 in blue) is a 20-liter, 5.28-US-gallon steel fuel can made in Latvia by the original factory to the 1937 design, sold empty with its bayonet-latched cap, gasket and a safety spout. It is a universal can with no vehicle fitment: it carries fuel for a truck, UTV, generator or chainsaw, and its NATO STANAG-compliant profile suits standard jerry-can holders.

The Wavian is 0.9 mm steel with fully welded, recessed seams, powder-coated outside and lined with a fuel-resistant coating inside, and its cap latches with a bayonet lever that Wavian says seals leak-proof in any orientation, so the can can ride on its side in a bed or a rack.

Fitment

This is a universal fuel can, not a vehicle-specific part, so it fits any vehicle or equipment you refuel by hand. The can follows the NATO STANAG profile and mount pattern, so it suits standard NATO jerry-can holders. Choose the color by fuel: red is designated for gasoline, yellow for diesel and blue for kerosene. Wavian also makes the can in black and olive drab, which have no fuel designation and cannot be sold or used for fuel in California, so they are not offered here. This can is for fuel only: for drinking water use a dedicated stainless-steel water can, and never store water in a can that has held fuel.
