It mates with the standard SO-239 (UHF female) sockets on Rugged Radios mobile radios, antennas, and NMO base cables while preserving the larger LMR400 cable's low signal loss over distance.

Compatibility

Sized for LMR400-UF (RG8) large-diameter coax. This is the LMR400 counterpart to the UHF-CONN-M, which fits smaller RG58 cable; the two are not interchangeable because the cable diameters differ. Does not fit RG58 — use UHF-CONN-M for RG58 cable.
