The Rugged Radios PLUS2-STX-H28 rear-seat expansion kit turns a 2-place Rugged STX Stereo intercom system into a 4-place system, adding two AlphaBass over-the-head headsets and two 16-foot intercom cables for the back seats. Rear passengers plug straight into the open rear ports of your existing Rugged intercom — no new intercom needed.

Compatibility

This is the STX Stereo version, matched to the Rugged STX Stereo intercom. It is not wired for Rugged Offroad Mono intercoms such as the 696 PLUS — mono systems use the non-STX PLUS2 version of this kit. Within the STX line, PLUS2-STX-H48 is the behind-the-head version of this AlphaBass pack, while PLUS2-STX-OTU (Ultimate) and PLUS2-STX-HK (helmet kits) cover the other audio styles.

Will this kit work with my intercom?

It is built for the Rugged STX Stereo intercom. If you run an Offroad Mono intercom such as the 696 PLUS, choose the matching non-STX PLUS2 kit instead.

What is included?

What is an over-the-head (OTH) headset?
