The Rugged Radios PLUS2-OTU rear-seat expansion kit turns a 2-place Rugged Offroad Mono intercom system into a 4-place system, adding two Ultimate over-the-head headsets and two 16-foot intercom cables for the back seats. Rear passengers plug straight into the open rear ports of your existing Rugged intercom — no new intercom needed.
Compatibility
This is the Offroad Mono version, matched to Rugged Offroad Mono intercoms such as the 696 PLUS. It is not wired for the STX Stereo intercom — stereo systems use the PLUS2-STX version of this kit. Within the Mono line, PLUS2-H48 supplies AlphaBass behind-the-head headsets and PLUS2-HK supplies helmet kits instead; PLUS2-STX-OTU is the Ultimate OTH pack for STX systems.

Will this kit work with my intercom?
It is built for Rugged Offroad Mono intercoms such as the 696 PLUS. If you run the STX Stereo intercom, choose the matching PLUS2-STX kit instead.
What is included?

What is an over-the-head (OTH) headset?
The band goes over the top of your head like traditional headphones — the most common style for riders not wearing helmets. Behind-the-head (BTH) versions are also available in this family.
