The Rugged Radios PC-RM-CLA is a 12-volt mobile radio power cord with a cigarette-lighter adapter, for quick power in chase vehicles, at base camp and anywhere you need a radio running without a hardwired install. Plug one end into the 12V socket and the other into your mobile radio for instant power.

Compatibility and build

The cord is 6 ft 6 in of 12-gauge wire with two built-in 15-amp fuses. It fits the Rugged RDM-DB (early model), RM25, RM45 and RM60 Vertex radios, plus most other radio brands using the same power connection. Rugged recommends running power straight to the battery for permanent installs — you can cut off the 12V adapter and wire this cord directly to the battery terminals if desired. For radios with waterproof power connectors (M1, G1, late GMR25/GMR45), use the waterproof version, part # PC-WP-CLA.
