The Rugged Radios NMO-TM-U is a 17 ft antenna coax cable with a 3/8 in thick-style (TM) NMO mount, made for vehicles with thick roofs. The thick mount secures the antenna properly on mounting surfaces up to 1/2 in thick, where a standard NMO mount is too short.
Compatibility
The cable is RG58A/U with a standard UHF connector on the radio end; connector adapters are available if your radio needs a different termination. A thick NMO mount is not required for standard-thickness installations — use the regular NMO-MT cable there. Avoid overtightening the antenna onto the NMO connector.
