The Simpson Hybrid Sport, sold by Rugged Radios, is an SFI 38.1-certified head and neck restraint (a HANS-style device) for racing and off-road driving.

An evolution of the popular Hybrid Pro Rage, it uses a proprietary DuPont carbon/polymer construction for a 20% weight reduction while keeping a sleek, low-profile shape. Defined shoulder wings keep the harness located, and standard sliding tethers with a multi-tether system allow free side-to-side head movement without compromising protection. It sits low on your back for quick vehicle exit and needs no seat modifications. The patented SAS (Seatbelt Anchor System) connects the lower straps directly to the vehicle's lap belt with quick-release loops, and a quick-release D-Ring anchor attaches to your helmet's restraint posts.
