The Rugged Radios Ground Strap Kit for Antenna, Radio, and Intercom Systems (GS-KIT) combines an NMO ground cable and a radio/intercom grounding cable to improve the performance and range of a two-way radio, antenna and intercom setup.
The NMO ground cable mounts to the antenna's brass fitting and to your roll cage, boosting performance for antennas that are not on a metal roof, and is for 3/8 in NMO cable only (now with black wiring). The grounding cable mounts to your existing intercom, RM60 radio and a bare-metal surface to reduce RF interference — especially useful on powder-coated frames. Total cable length is 42 in, with 30 in running from the intercom to chassis ground.
