The product, Mobile Radio Audio Record Cable, is carefully engineered for media professionals and allows for the capture of incoming radio traffic from any Rugged mobile radio onto GoPro or digital recording devices. This functionality allows for recording of radio traffic in various situations, be it race action observation from a vehicle situated on a hill or from the pits. Connection is simple, with one end plugging into the 5-pin radio port of a mobile radio, and a 3.5mm plug into the recording device. For recording with a handheld, a different cable is recommended. This cable can also capture intercom, GPS instructions, and radio with the right cable. Additionally, audio from a Rugged intercom, two-way radio, and the Rugged handheld radio can also be recorded into a GoPro or digital recorder. This cable is also compatible with the 6100 intercom and radio and can record turn-by-turn navigation audio from an iPad or GPS device. Rugged Audio Control Hub not only records intercom, radio and navigation sounds but also cell or satellite phone audio, and has a built-in filter to reduce electrical disturbances and deliver clear audio.
