Crew Chief - H42 Spotter Headset and Rugged Handheld Radio Package is a kit developed for clear communication for crew chiefs and spotters in NASCAR, IMSA circle track, and road racing. The package combines Rugged Radio's H42 headset, a coiled headset jumper cable, and a handheld radio. Two radio options include the practically digital 16-channel RDH for crystal clear communication and the dual band R1 with digital and analog operation. RDH16 stands out for power, performance, and easy operation, enabling ultra-clear communication and allowing compatibility with standard analog radios. R1 offers UHF and VHF operation and many accessories for expansion on and off the track. Three kit options are available: Single Radio, Dual Radio, and Single Radio with Nitro Bee X. Features include easy setup, headset PTT, convenient volume adjustability, dynamic noise cancelling mic, dual band operation, and available radio accessories like long range antenna and XL batteries. Button lock prevents accidental changes. The package also includes a RDH16 UHF or R1 Dual Band Digital/Analog Handheld Radio, an H42 Behind the Head Headset, and a Radio-to-Headset Coil Cord. This radio kit is compatible with all VHF/UHF business band radios and UHF business band radios operating on the same frequencies. A business license is needed.
