Rugged Radios Headset and Helmet Kit Extension Cable with Volume Contr

The Rugged Radios CC-VOL-EXT-OFF is a headset/helmet extension cable with an inline volume knob for mono (RUGGED wired) off-road intercom systems. Each person can set their own listening level without touching the radio or phone.

The inline knob attenuates incoming volume only; it does not boost it, so raise the source volume first and then fine-tune at the knob. The cord uses Total Shield RF blocking and measures 28 inches coiled, extending to about 6 feet. It works with all Rugged, PCI Race Radios, Avcomm, RacerX and other intercoms. For stereo STX systems, use the CC-VOL-EXT-STX version.

Does the volume knob make it louder?

No. The inline knob only lowers incoming volume. To get more volume, turn up your radio or device first, then fine-tune down at the knob.

Is this the mono or stereo version?

This SKU (CC-VOL-EXT-OFF) is the RUGGED mono off-road version. For a stereo STX system, choose the CC-VOL-EXT-STX.
