Rugged Radios BAT-RH5R-XL is a high-capacity 3800mAh lithium-ion battery pack for the Rugged Radios V3 and RH-5R handheld radios, delivering roughly double the runtime of the standard battery. It is the go-to spare for race weekends, all-day trail rides and job-site shifts where you cannot stop to recharge.

Compatibility

Fits the Rugged Radios V3 and RH-5R handhelds. Unlike the standard BAT-V3 (1600mAh with a built-in 12V port but no charger-base contacts), the BAT-RH5R-XL carries base contacts so it can charge on the dock, and it also pairs with the Battery Charger with 12V Charge Port for in-vehicle charging. It is also offered in the V3 Long Range Upgrade Bundle with the Go-Further ducky antenna. It does not fit other Rugged handhelds such as the R1 or GMR2.
