The Rugged Radios BAT-ELM-RH5R is a battery eliminator for the Rugged V3 and RH5R handheld radios that powers the radio from your vehicle's cigarette-lighter port. Swap the radio's battery for the eliminator — no wiring or tools — and plug it into a 12V cigarette-lighter port for uninterrupted power. It is built for long road trips and week-long trail events where AC power is scarce, and it lets you conserve your batteries for when you need them.
Compatibility
It fits the Rugged V3 and RH5R handhelds. For other Rugged handhelds use the matching eliminator (for example BAT-ELM-R1 for the R1, or BAT-ELM-RDHX for the RDH-X). The radio is sold separately.
