The Rugged Radios BAT-ELM-GMR2 is a 12V battery eliminator for the Rugged GMR2 and GMR2 Plus handheld radios that powers the radio from your vehicle's accessory outlet. Remove the radio's battery and slide the eliminator into the battery bay — no wiring or tools — then plug it into a 12V auxiliary/accessory outlet for continuous power. It is ideal for long drives and multi-day events where you cannot recharge, and it also lets you conserve your batteries when a power outlet is available.
Compatibility
It fits both the GMR2 and GMR2 Plus handhelds. For other Rugged handhelds use the matching eliminator (for example BAT-ELM-R1 for the R1, or BAT-ELM-RH5R for the V3/RH5R). The radio is sold separately.
