Operation of this accessory involves removing the radio's battery and replacing it with the battery eliminator. It can be powered via the auxiliary power outlet in a car. Besides acting as a fail-safe against battery exhaustion, it can also help conserve power when desired. This essential gadget is compatible with both GMR2 and GMR2 Plus handheld radios. Note: Radios are sold separately.
