The Rugged Radios ANT-SPRING is a chrome-plated stainless steel shock spring for whip antennas that reduces antenna breakage and bending. This heavy-duty, high-tension spring threads onto any existing threaded antenna base; the pre-cut, pre-tuned antenna then slides into the slot and is secured with side screws. The spring absorbs impacts from brush and trail obstacles so the whip flexes instead of snapping.
