The Rugged Radios ANT-SPARE-MAG-KIT-V is a VHF 1/2-wave No Ground Plane (NGP) antenna kit with a magnetic mount for mobile two-way radios. The powerful magnetic mount attaches to a metal surface without drilling, and the No Ground Plane 1/2-wave design does not require a factory ground plane. The kit ships with the pre-tuned VHF whip, a threaded-NMO magnetic base, and 13 feet of coax cable.
Compatibility
This is the VHF version, tuned for 144–174 MHz. For a UHF/GMRS radio use the ANT-SPARE-MAG-KIT-U instead. If you prefer a permanent NMO surface mount rather than magnetic, choose the ANT-SPARE-KIT-V.
