The Rugged Radios ANT-SPARE-MAG-KIT-U is a GMRS/UHF No Ground Plane (NGP) whip antenna kit with a magnetic NMO mount for mobile two-way radios. The magnetic UNI-MAG mount lets you place the antenna on a metal roof without drilling, and the No Ground Plane design means the POINT5 whip does not rely on a factory ground plane. The kit ships with 13 feet of coax and includes a tech installation guide for antenna placement and surface prep.
Compatibility
This is the UHF/GMRS version, and the POINT5 whip operates on any frequency between 406–470 MHz, including GMRS. For a VHF radio use the ANT-SPARE-MAG-KIT-V instead. If you prefer a permanent NMO surface mount rather than magnetic, choose the ANT-SPARE-KIT-U.
