Precision cross-drilled holes pull heat out of the rotor face for maximum cooling, while rounded slots sweep away gas, dust and moisture so the pads stay in clean contact with the friction surface. A silver zinc dichromate plating protects the entire rotor — hat, vanes and edges — from the rust that quickly claims bare rotors on off-road rigs.
