The OMIX 12303.10 is an outer door glass seal (belt weatherstrip) for 1982-1995 Jeep CJ and 1987-1995 Wrangler YJ equipped with full steel doors and movable vent windows. Molded from OE-style rubber, it runs along the outer top edge of the door where the glass meets the sheet metal, sweeping the window and sealing out rain, wind and cold. It is a direct-fit replacement for the factory seal and installs without special tools.

This is a restoration and replacement part for owners refreshing tired, cracked or missing factory weatherstrip. The seal cross-references OE reference 8134851 and is backed by a limited 5-year warranty.

Sold as: one outer glass seal. It is not side-specific and fits either the driver or passenger door. For a full door you also need the inner glass seal and the glass run channel, which are separate parts.

Fitment: Fits 1982-1986 Jeep CJ (CJ5/CJ7/CJ8 Scrambler) and 1987-1995 Jeep Wrangler YJ with full steel doors and movable vent windows. Does not fit TJ (1997-2006) or later Wranglers, which use different glass seals (for example OMIX 12303.17 for the TJ).

Does it fit a TJ Wrangler?

No. The 12303.10 covers 1982-1995 CJ and YJ only. The 1997-2006 TJ uses a different, side-specific outer glass seal.
