The MTX AWBTC is an IP65-rated all-weather Bluetooth receiver and remote control that replaces a head unit on a UTV, ATV, boat, car or truck, streaming audio from a phone or tablet and feeding an amplifier through two sets of 4-volt RCA preouts.

Fitment

This is a universal product, not a vehicle-specific one. MTX lists it for boats, UTVs, ATVs, cars and trucks, and it pairs with most Bluetooth-enabled smartphones and tablets including iPhone and Android devices.

What decides fitment is the mounting location and the rest of the system. Surface and flush mounting need a flat area clearing a 2.375 inch diameter face and 1.438 inches of depth behind it; clamp mounting needs a 7/8, 1 or 1-1/4 inch bar. Wiring is power, ground and the RCA outputs.

Plan the system around the outputs. The AWBTC provides line-level RCA preouts rather than speaker-level outputs, so it is a source and controller for an amplified system — it works alongside an amplifier and speakers, or an amplified sound bar with an auxiliary input, rather than driving passive speakers on its own.
