- Optional HRC BM bass level remote control (sold separately)
The Hertz ML Power 1 is a Mille-series Class D mono car audio subwoofer amplifier rated 600 W RMS x 1 at 4 ohms, 1000 W RMS x 1 at 2 ohms, and 1000 W RMS x 1 at 1 ohm (14.4 VDC), designed to drive Hertz Mille subwoofers in any 12-volt vehicle installation. It is 1-ohm stable and sold as a single amplifier.
Hertz's Advanced D-Class (ADC) topology keeps the chassis compact — 349 x 170 x 46.7 mm — while a dual-technology heat sink combining extrusion and aluminium die-casting lets the amplifier run continuously at full power. The control section sits under a removable top panel for easy tuning after installation, and a status LED reports overheating, overload, and short-circuit protection events.
What's Included
Sold individually — one mono amplifier. The HRC BM bass level remote control is optional and sold separately. The ML Power IN input module accepts both RCA connections from aftermarket head units and speaker-level connections from factory (OEM) systems; with speaker-level input, the ART (Automatic Remote Turn On-Off) function switches the amplifier on and off without a remote wire.

Fitment / Compatibility
The ML Power 1 is a universal 12-volt car audio amplifier with no vehicle-specific fitment; it installs in any vehicle with 11-15 VDC electrical supply and space for its 349 mm chassis. Hertz positions it as the matching amplifier for Mille subwoofers such as the ML 2500.3, and its speaker-level input with ART makes it compatible with unmodified factory head units as well as aftermarket sources.
FAQ
Is the Hertz ML Power 1 stable at 1 ohm?
Yes. It delivers 1000 W RMS x 1 into either a 2-ohm or a 1-ohm load, and 600 W RMS x 1 at 4 ohms (rated at 14.4 VDC).
Can the ML Power 1 connect to a factory head unit?
Yes. The ML Power IN module has a balanced speaker-level input for OEM systems, and the ART function turns the amplifier on and off automatically — no remote turn-on lead required. Aftermarket sources use the RCA input.
Does it include a bass remote?
No. The Hertz HRC BM bass level remote control is supported but optional, sold separately.
What is the difference between the ML Power 1, ML Power 4, and ML Power 5?
The ML Power 1 is the mono subwoofer amplifier of the trio. The ML Power 4 is a 4-channel amplifier for speaker systems (250 W RMS x 4 at 2 ohms), and the ML Power 5 is a 5-channel that runs four speakers plus a subwoofer from one chassis (100 W x 4 + 550 W x 1 at 2 ohms).
