The Hertz ML 2500.3 is a Mille Legend series 10-inch (250 mm) component car audio subwoofer with a single 4-ohm voice coil, rated 700 W continuous and 1400 W peak power handling and designed for compact sealed enclosures of 17-25 liters. It is a universal 12-volt component subwoofer for any vehicle installation — it requires an enclosure and an external amplifier.

The motor uses an oversized neodymium magnet (95 x 28 x 6 mm) optimized with FEA simulation, a 100 mm (4-inch) CCAW voice coil wound on a fiberglass TIL former, and an aluminium shorting ring on the center pole for low distortion at high output. The mineral-injected pressed-pulp Exponential V-cone rides on a Boundary Free IIR rubber surround in a six-spoke anti-resonant aluminium alloy basket. With a top-mount depth of only 137 mm (5.4 in), it fits enclosures many 10-inch subwoofers of this output class cannot.
