The Hertz CPK 165 is a Cento Pro line 6.5-inch (165 mm) 2-way component car speaker system rated 105 W RMS and 315 W peak power handling at 4 ohms, sold as a complete pair: two CP 165 woofers, two CP 25 tweeters, two CPCX 2 external passive crossovers, and woofer grilles. The CP 25 tweeter uses a soft 29 mm Tetolon fiber dome with a neodymium magnet and Hertz's Center Tuning Duct geometry, which lowers the tweeter's resonance frequency so the crossover point can sit low at 2.8 kHz for a taller, more realistic sound stage. The CP 165 woofer pairs a FEM-optimized pressed-paper cone with a high-density ferrite magnet and a 25 mm pure-copper voice coil, tuned to a 60 Hz resonance frequency for tight, punchy mid-bass.
