The DragonFire Racing Hydra Axle 522843 is a heavy-duty chromoly replacement CV axle for the front-left (driver-side) position on the 2017-2018 Can-Am Maverick X3 X rs Turbo R (72-inch chassis). It installs in the factory location with no cutting, drilling, or modification.

The Hydra shaft is forged from dual-heat-treated high-strength chromoly steel roughly 15-20% larger in diameter than the OEM bar, with a 4340 chromoly CV cage machined for wider articulation angles. CV joints are precision-machined and induction heat-treated, packed with high-quality moly grease and sealed in a TPEE CV boot to keep out sand and mud.

Fitment: This axle is position- and trim-specific. It fits only the front-left corner of the 2017-2018 Maverick X3 X rs Turbo R. The front-right companion for the same machine is part 522842. Does not fit the rear position (use 522841), the front-right side, the 64-inch X ds trim (front-left 522846), or the X mr trim (front-left 522848). Order two axles (one per side) to replace both fronts.
