The DragonFire Racing Hydra Axle 522845 is a heavy-duty chromoly replacement CV axle for the front-right (passenger-side) position on the 2017-2019 Can-Am Maverick X3 X mr Turbo R (72-inch mud chassis). It installs in the factory location with no cutting, drilling, or modification.
The Hydra shaft is forged from dual-heat-treated high-strength chromoly steel roughly 15-20% larger in diameter than the OEM bar, with a 4340 chromoly CV cage machined for wider articulation angles. CV joints are precision-machined and induction heat-treated, packed with high-quality moly grease and sealed in a TPEE CV boot to keep out sand and mud.
Fitment: This axle is position- and trim-specific. It fits only the front-right corner of the 2017-2019 Maverick X3 X mr Turbo R. Does not fit the rear position (522844), the front-left side (X mr front-left 522848), the X rs trim (front-right 522842), or the 64-inch X ds. Note that DragonFire also lists a front "right/left" axle (522847) for the 2018-2019 X mr; if you are unsure which front axle your machine uses, confirm against your VIN before ordering. Order two axles to replace both fronts.
