The DEI 902409 is an under-seat Heat Control Kit for the non-California 2022-2025 Honda Pioneer 1000-3, 1000-5, and 1000-6. It shields the seat base and center panel from engine and exhaust heat, blocking radiant heat in the cup-holder and driver's right-leg area for a cooler, quieter cab.

Construction

Each shield is cut from 0.060-inch glass-fiber mat with an aluminum reflective surface rated to withstand up to 1200F of direct heat, and it also helps damp engine noise and vibration.

Installation

The pre-cut shields are adhesive-backed and install with no drilling or vehicle modifications, about a 1.5 to 2 hour job. On the 1000-6 the shield installs under the rear seat. Includes the front-seat heat shields and mounting hardware; made in the USA.

Fitment

Fits non-California 2022-2025 Honda Pioneer 1000-3, 1000-5, and 1000-6. Does not fit California AC models or units equipped with an EVAP emissions canister. For the earlier 2016-2021 Pioneer 1000-3/1000-5, use the DEI 902482 heat shield kit instead.
