BAK's BAKFlip MX4 in part number 448441 is the flush-mount hard folding tonneau cover for the 2022-2026 Toyota Tundra with the 6'7" (78.7 in) bed, the box BAK markets as the 6.5-foot bed. RealTruck, BAK's parent company, lists this number as the third-generation Tundra application for trucks without the Trail Special Edition storage boxes.

Where the G2 aluminum series sits on top of the bed rail, the MX4 drops in flush and nearly disappears into the Tundra's profile. Top panels use premium-grade, multi-layer aluminum reinforced with high-density polymer under a matte black textured finish that carries through to the cab corner caps, clamps and elevator bolts. A dual-action tailgate seal lets the cover latch with the tailgate up or down, and pre-molded, die-cut shock-absorbent bumpers keep the panels quiet over washboard.

Matte black textured finish resists UV and scratching
Bolt-on, click-in installation in under 30 minutes, no drilling on most trucks

Fitment

448441 covers the 2022-2026 Toyota Tundra with the 6'7" bed. It mounts on trucks with or without the deck rail / utility track system, but read this before buying: RealTruck states that installation requires removing the tie-down cleats if the truck has them, and those cleats cannot be reinstalled afterward. Does not fit a Tundra ordered with the Trail Special Edition storage boxes — RealTruck's note reads "Will NOT Work w/ Trail Special Edition Storage Boxes." Does not fit the 5.5-foot Tundra bed, which takes 448440 instead.

2022-2026 Toyota Tundra — 6'7" (78.7 in) bed, with or without the deck rail system, without Trail Special Edition storage boxes

FAQ

Will 448441 fit a Tundra with the deck rail system?

Yes, the cover mounts with or without the utility track / deck rail system. RealTruck notes that any tie-down cleats have to come out during installation and cannot be put back, so plan on losing them.

Does 448441 fit a Tundra Trail Special Edition?

No. RealTruck states the cover will not work with the Trail Special Edition storage boxes, so a Tundra ordered with those in-bed boxes is not a fit for this part number.

What is the difference between 448441 and 448440?

Only bed length. 448441 is cut for the 6'7" (6.5-foot) Tundra bed and 448440 is the same MX4 cover for the 5.5-foot bed on the same 2022-2026 truck.

Can the tailgate close with the MX4 installed?

Yes. The MX4 uses a dual-action tailgate seal, so the cover can be latched with the tailgate closed or open.
