Is the aFe 50-70072D CARB legal in California?

No. This part does not carry a CARB Executive Order, so it is not legal for sale or use on pollution-controlled vehicles registered in California or other states that follow California emissions standards. aFe intends it for off-road and competition use in those states; it remains street-legal in states following federal EPA emissions rules.

What is the difference between 50-70072D and 50-70072R?

Both are the same Momentum GT intake for the F-150 3.5L EcoBoost; the 50-70072D ships with the dry Pro DRY S filter that needs no oiling, while the 50-70072R ships with the oiled Pro 5R cotton-gauze filter.

Does this intake fit the F-150 PowerBoost hybrid?

No. This kit fits the 3.5L EcoBoost twin-turbo (including the Raptor 3.5L HO). It does not fit the 3.5L PowerBoost hybrid, the 2.7L EcoBoost, the 5.0L V8, or the Lightning EV.

Do I need a tune to install it?
