The XTC Power Products PCS-72S-MAV-NS is a six-circuit Power Control System with a built-in two-channel strobe for the Can-Am Maverick X3, using a vehicle-specific power connector and a factory-style switch harness that drops into the X3's pre-cut rocker switch positions. The NS suffix is XTC's no-switch build, chosen by owners who are fitting their own rocker switches.
Key Benefits
- Six switched accessory circuits from one system: one 30 amp and one 20 amp high-current relay circuit, plus three 10 amp direct-wire circuits for low-draw accessories like rock lights and whips
- The high-current relays are diode protected, which reduces the voltage spike from field collapse and protects LED lights and other sensitive accessories
- Built-in two-channel strobe system with seven flashing patterns cycled from a mountable switch, at 10 amps per channel
- Vehicle-specific power connector and X3-specific switch harness, so the switches land in the machine's own pre-cut rocker positions instead of a drilled panel
- Fed by an 8-gauge power cable with a 50 amp main circuit breaker at the battery for overall circuit protection
- Every switch circuit is individually fused at the fuse block
- Modular power connector at the fuse box with positive and negative ring terminals to ignition power
- Made in the USA
What's Included
- Power Control System module with fuse block
- 8-gauge power cable with 50 amp main circuit breaker for the battery
- Installation documentation
- Rocker switches are not supplied: NS is XTC's "I'll use custom rocker switches" configuration
Fitment
XTC lists this Power Control System for the Can-Am Maverick X3, covering both the two-seat and the four-seat MAX models. The switch layout is built around the X3's own console: three rocker positions mount in the center console between driver and passenger, two mount in the center dash, and the last can go beside the steering wheel or in the center dash.
The part number matters here. PCS-72S-MAV-NS is the no-switch version of the PCS-72S-MAV: the same six-circuit system with the same two-channel strobe, ordered without XTC's set of basic lit rocker switches so you can fit your own. If you want XTC's switches in the box, order the non-NS part number instead.
Note that XTC's fitment table on this product also lists the Can-Am Maverick R, 2024 and newer. Because this part number is the MAV build and its switch positions are described against the X3 console, confirm Maverick R fitment with XTC before ordering for one.
FAQ
FAQ
Does the PCS-72S-MAV-NS come with rocker switches?
No. NS is XTC's no-switch configuration, listed on XTC's own page as the "I'll use custom rocker switches" option. Buy the non-NS part number if you want XTC's basic lit rocker switches included.
How much can each circuit handle?
There is one 30 amp and one 20 amp high-current circuit on diode-protected relays, three 10 amp direct-wire circuits, and a two-channel strobe system at 10 amps per channel. The whole system is fed through an 8-gauge cable behind a 50 amp main circuit breaker at the battery.
Where do the switches mount in a Maverick X3?
Three positions in the center console between the driver and passenger, two in the center dash, and one that can mount beside the steering wheel or in the center dash. They use the X3's factory pre-cut rocker switch openings.
How many strobe patterns does it have?
Seven. They are cycled through with a mountable switch, and the strobe runs two independent channels.
